John Martin Magenau Jr. acted as the company's President and COO up until 1978 when it was shut down. Jacobs attended Pittsburgh's Pittsburgh Playhouse on Saturdays to learn acting lessons. When she was 8, she began her acting studies. When she graduated from Mt. Jacobs left Lebanon High School to go to New York City in the year 2000. There she joined the Drama Division of Group 33. She graduated in 2004 with a bachelor degree.
